Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Design Manager to lead a design team, implement workplace strategy, and support design associates for assigned account(s). Hybrid or remote work options are available.

The role focuses on managing design projects from concept through construction while ensuring quality and client satisfaction. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, 4+ years of professional design experience, and strong Revit proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA/NAAB accredited program in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4+ years of professional design experience.
• 4+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in architectural drawings, concepts, and design.
• Strong time management and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design professionals from sketch through construction.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, standards, varying complexity of projects, and resource allocation.
• Support Project Designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Ensure new processes and design standards are communicated and implemented within documentation.
• Review preliminary space plans to ensure safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Review FF&E selections and specifications to meet client requirements.
• Provide ongoing training on space planning, program management, and FF&E services.
• Develop client workplace standards and pursue improvements to the design.
• Coordinate with third-party architects and engineers on collaboration and delivery.
• Share extensive FF&E vendor knowledge with the team.
