Job summary

Ernesta is seeking a Retail Trade Account Executive to grow our local trade business with interior designers, architects, and other trade partners in Mill Valley. You will own a portfolio, develop new relationships, and drive projects from initial introduction through completion, with a focus on excellent service and measurable revenue growth.

You’ll spend time visiting showrooms, attending industry events, and building a robust pipeline while collaborating with the Showroom Leader and Design

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in interior design, home furnishings, architecture or design sales.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with ability to grow a book of business.
• Strong time management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Ernesta’s local trade business by developing relationships with designers, architects, and trade partners.
• Own a portfolio of trade accounts, driving repeat projects, retention, and revenue growth.
• Identify and acquire new trade accounts via outreach, referrals, and networking.
• Activate new trade accounts and support active and future projects with Ernesta's products and services.
• Spend 20–30% of time externally meeting the trade community and hosting events.
• Maintain an organized account pipeline with next steps, timelines, and growth opportunities.
