Job summary

Ernesta is seeking a Retail Trade Account Executive to grow our local trade business by partnering with interior designers, architects, and other trade partners. You will own and nurture relationships, develop a sales pipeline, and drive ongoing projects with a focus on expanding Ernesta’s presence in the showroom and community.

The role involves 20–30% local trade activity, partnership with showroom leadership, and delivering high-level product and design expertise while representing Ernesta

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of relevant experience in interior design, home furnishings, architecture and design sales, trade sales, account management, or a related design-focused industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships and develop trust with clients or accounts over time.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with drive to proactively create new business opportunities and grow a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Ernesta’s local trade business through meaningful, long-term relationships with designers, architects, and trade partners.
• Own a portfolio of trade accounts and drive retention, repeat projects, and revenue growth.
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new trade accounts within the local design community through outreach, referrals, networking, and events.
