Job summary

Ernesta is seeking a Retail Trade Account Executive to expand Ernesta’s trade business in the local design community. You will manage relationships with interior designers and trade partners, grow existing accounts, and proactively develop new opportunities while spending 20–30% of your time in the trade network.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, design expertise, and a consultative selling approach, with a showroom-focused, entrepreneurial environment in the retail team.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of interior design, home furnishings, architecture and design sales experience.
• Strong relationship-building with clients or accounts.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with drive to proactively create new business opportunities and grow a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Ernesta’s local trade business by developing meaningful, long-term relationships with interior designers, architects, and other trade partners.
• Own a portfolio of trade accounts and proactively develop those relationships to drive repeat projects, retention, and revenue growth.
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new trade accounts within the local design community through targeted outreach and networking.
• Activate new trade accounts by understanding their business and aligning Ernesta’s products and services to their projects.
