Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Consultant to engage customers on the sales floor and support design projects, including appointments for selecting tile, wood, stone, and accessories. You will collaborate with store leadership to maximize sales and expand the design services brand.

The role emphasizes in-store engagement, design recommendations, and coordinating with customers through the design process from inquiry to installation. Experience in retail and basic math is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail/customer service experience.
• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Internal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor & Decor.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing design solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy and timely communication.
