Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to engage customers on the sales floor and support their design projects.

You will conduct design appointments to determine needs in tile, wood, stone, and accessories, partnering with store leadership to maximize sales and extend the design services brand. The role requires 1+ years in retail or customer service, high school diploma, basic math, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail/customer service experience.
• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Internal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor & Decor.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-ins.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories guidance to homeowners and professionals.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining communication.
