Job summary

CB2 in Portland, OR seeks an in-store and virtual Designer to help customers plan spaces and deliver elevated CB2 experiences. You will create moodboards, 2D floor plans, and product lists while guiding one-on-one consultations with clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Furniture Sales or Home Decor Design or retail/customer service experience.
• Proven ability to translate client needs into design concepts.
• Proficiency with design tools and virtual/in-store consultations.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and provide an elevated customer experience in-store and virtually.
• Create moodboards and 2D floor plans and assemble product lists.
• Lead one-on-one design consultations in person, via email, phone, or virtual meetings.
• Demonstrate CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising across channels (Store, Online, Catalog).
• Meet individual sales, KPI, and service goals and follow the four steps of selling.
• Stay informed about marketplace and industry trends.
• Listen actively to identify products meeting customer needs and explain loyalty services.
