Job summary

CB2 in Miami seeks a design-minded Designer to help customers plan spaces with moodboards, 2D floor plans, and curated product lists. You will deliver elevated CB2 designs in-store and virtually, guiding clients through the design process and ensuring exceptional service.

You will lead One on One consultations, translate the CB2 brand aesthetics into client solutions, and drive sales while staying current with industry trends and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate the CB2 brand vision and customer needs.
• Strong affinity for technology and proficient in floor planning.
• Ability to stay up to date on current design trends.
• Proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/Home Decor Design or retail/customer service.
• Experience working one on one with clients and recommending solutions.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions and elevated design offerings in-store and virtually.
• Create elevated CB2 designs for customers using moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists and style inspiration.
• Lead One on One Design consultations in person or via email, phone, and virtual design consults; deliver projects timely.
• Demonstrate CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel – Store, Online, Catalog.
• Meet sales, KPI and service goals, and engage customers on the sales floor with the four steps of selling.
• Stay informed with the marketplace and industry trends.
• Listen to customers to identify products meeting needs and communicate loyalty services.
• Support and model excellent service with a positive attitude across in-store, virtual, and home visits.
