Job summary

CB2 is seeking a design-forward Sales Designer to assist customers in planning and styling their spaces, both in-store and virtually. You will create moodboards, floor plans, and design proposals that exemplify CB2 aesthetics and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of furniture/home decor design or retail experience, strong communication, and comfort with design tools and digital collaboration.

• Ability to translate brand vision into customer-ready designs.
• Strong relationship-building with customers to drive repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver an elevated design experience in-store and virtually.
• Create CB2 designs using moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists and inspiration.
• Lead One on One Design consultations in person or via email, phone, and virtual design consults.
• Understand CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel (Store, Online, Catalog).
• Deliver sales, KPI and service goals, productivity standards, and engage customers with our four steps of selling.
• Stay informed on marketplace and design trends.
• Listen to customers and communicate loyalty services (e.g., rewards, credit card, gift registry).
• Provide enthusiastic, positive service in-store, virtually, and in customers' homes when applicable.
