Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a Sr. Designer to lead our design team, meeting customers, understanding project needs, and crafting concepts that reflect client style and budget.

You will educate customers on requirements and present complete design solutions for residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities include building relationships, coordinating appointments, and collaborating with store leadership to drive sales, while staying current on design trends and using design tools

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design).
• 6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education.
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• Prior retail/sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• MUST be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through referrals and in-store leads.
• Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessory guidance to homeowners, designers, and builders.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically pleasing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with high accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Support company initiatives by modeling best practices with staff.
• Stay abreast of current design trends and utilize design applications.
