Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead projects from inception through closeout. You will work with clients and design teams to translate concepts into buildable solutions, manage estimating, scheduling, and cost control, and guide subcontractors for high-value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead Every Facet of the Project from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development.
• Deliver Accurate, Impactful Estimates with detailed, reliable project estimates.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Influence the Big Picture by participating in proposal meetings and refining scope.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout for cost-effective partnerships.
• Drive on-site communication with bi-weekly site meetings.
• Make confident decisions under pressure with calm leadership.
• Juggle multiple moving parts to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement across processes.
• Turn client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
