Job summary

ARCO Design/Build, Inc. is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to guide projects from concept through final walkthrough.

You will own estimating, scheduling, design coordination, safety, and cost tracking while collaborating with clients and design teams to shape viable solutions. You will drive value through proactive proposal input, lead subcontractor buyouts, and run on-site bi-weekly meetings to keep everything aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Lead Every Facet of the Project – ownership of success from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development
• Deliver Accurate, Impactful Estimates – prepare detailed, reliable project estimates for successful execution
• Collaborate on Vision and Innovation – work with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions
• Influence the Big Picture – participate in proposal meetings, refine scope, reduce costs, and offer value-driven engineering insights
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout – ensure top-tier talent and cost-effective partnerships
• Drive Communication On-Site – bi-weekly site meetings to align teams and keep progress on track
• Make Confident Decisions Under Pressure – lead with calm, focused leadership when quick decisions are needed
• Juggle with Precision – coordinate multiple moving parts to keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, and budget
• Champion Quality and Continuous Improvement – monitor processes and look for ways to improve
