Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to lead projects from concept to final walkthrough. You’ll own estimating, scheduling, quality control, cost tracking, design coordination, and safety while collaborating with clients and design teams.

You’ll run bi-weekly on-site meetings, guide subcontractor selection, and refine scope to reduce costs. This role rewards leadership, integrity, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree completion in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science or Construction Engineering.
• Interest in design/build and tilt-up concrete, industrial builds.
• Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety and proposal development.
• Deliver detailed, reliable project estimates for successful execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Participate in proposal meetings to refine scope, reduce costs, and offer value-driven engineering insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout to ensure top-tier talent and cost-effective partnerships.
• Drive bi-weekly on-site meetings to align teams, resolve challenges, and track progress.
• Make confident decisions under pressure to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to maintain scope, schedule and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
• Turn client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
• Lead with integrity and deliver with purpose to ensure client satisfaction.
