Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to own projects from inception through final walkthrough. You will lead estimating, scheduling, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development while working with clients and design teams to translate concepts into buildable solutions.

In this role you will influence scope during proposal meetings, select subcontractors, and drive on-site communication.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, and industrial builds.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from estimating to design coordination, scheduling, cost tracking, safety, billing, and proposal development.
• Deliver accurate, detailed project estimates to support execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Influence proposals by refining scope and reducing costs with value-driven insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout to ensure high-quality partnerships.
• Drive on-site communication through bi-weekly site meetings.
• Make decisive leadership decisions under pressure to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement across processes.
• Translate client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
