Job summary

Horrocks invites a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager to join the Innovative Pursuits Team. Lead drainage discipline engineering for transportation projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and drive project delivery in the Mountain West region.

Responsibilities include lead design, analysis, reports, plans, and specs using Microstation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD Civil 3D; mentor staff; communicate with clients; deliver on deadlines while growing professionally.

Qualifications

• Current PE license preferred (state UT highly desired).
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities.
• Proficient with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D for design work.
• Lead a team environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients, staff, and management.
• Meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Grow personally and professionally within each project to support client goals.
