Job summary

Horrocks in Idaho Falls is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead drainage discipline engineering for transportation projects, coordinate with other leads, and drive designs from concept through delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of drainage design leadership, 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience, and a PE license. We value strong client relationships, teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines on local and Rocky Mountain region projects.

Qualifications

• Current PE license preferred; states include UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation projects and pursuits.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and integrate design work.
• Serve as integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities.
• Proficient with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients and meet deadlines.
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
