Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager to drive drainage design for transportation projects across the Rocky Mountain Region. The role focuses on leading technical teams, coordinating with discipline leads, and delivering fit-for-purpose drainage solutions for complex projects.

You will contribute to the growth of one of the Mountain West region’s leading Design-Build teams, collaborating with local and national contractors to create value-added designs and drive successful

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA.
• 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and maintain positive client relationships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Proficient with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D; applicable software for transportation drainage.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to meet project goals and deadlines.
