Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager to oversee drainage design for transportation projects. You will lead teams, coordinate with discipline leads, and contribute to project delivery across local and Rocky Mountain Region wide assignments.

Demonstrated experience in drainage design, team leadership, and strong communication with clients and staff is essential. A PE license is preferred for multiple states and the role offers growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must have PE license (preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA)
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Strong team leadership and client-facing communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project delivery team
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities
• Knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff
• Meet project deadlines
• Grow professionally within project teams
