Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in the Mountain West region. You will lead drainage design for transportation projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and contribute to project delivery from planning through final drawings.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license with 10+ years in drainage for infrastructure, plus 3+ years DOT DB/PDB experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current PE license; preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Strong team leadership and client relationship skills.
• Excellent communication across all levels.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project delivery team
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantity tasks
• Knowledge with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, management
• Proven history of meeting project deadlines
• Desire to grow personally and professionally with each project
