Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant.
Skilled in charting and patient scheduling.
Familiarity with EMA/EMR systems required.
Responsibilities
Perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients.
Answer incoming phone calls and address patient questions.
Evaluate and document wound concerns and manage refill requests.
Schedule surgeries and procedures according to templates and guidelines.
Provide patient education using clear communication.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with answering phones and voicemails
Medical understanding of surgical procedures
Knowledge of common pathology diagnoses
Ability to manage stat emergent situations
Education
High School Diploma or higher
CCMA/RMA Certification preferred
