Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical front office or patient services role.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification and billing processes.
• Experience with EHR/practice management systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or medical office certification a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient balances at time of service.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages to clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographic and insurance information in the EHR.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments as needed.
• Support a smooth patient flow by communicating wait times and liaising between front and back office teams.
