Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate location.
• Verify insurance and billing information for all types of coverage.
• Audit charts daily for completeness and accuracy and follow up as needed.
• Prepare paperwork used during patient care in a timely manner.
• Maintain >95% accuracy in tasks.
• Coordinate with ancillary departments and physicians' offices.
• Train and orient new clerical staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, in person and by phone.
• Handle stress, make sound decisions, and comply with center policies.
