SSM Health Des Peres Medical Pavilion is seeking a Regular full-time Front Desk Specialist to ensure a smooth patient experience. The role involves accurate registration, insurance verification, payment collection, call handling, and clerical support at the Dermatology department.

The position supports daily opening/closing tasks, patient greeting, lobby flow management, and may float to other locations to cover staffing needs. 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED (or 10 years of work experience).
• At least 1 year of experience in a front desk or related role.
• Ability to manage registration, insurance verification, payment collection, call handling, and clerical support.

Responsabilidades

• Manage front‑desk operations including registration, insurance verification, payment collection, and call handling.
• Assist with scheduling tests and procedures as required by the clinic.
• Verify insurance coverage and real‑time eligibility checks.
• Open/close daily tasks and handle clerical duties; may float to other locations.
• Greet patients, manage lobby flow, and provide wayfinding.
