Job summary

The Oregon Clinic in Portland, OR, seeks a full-time Patient Services Specialist for our MOHS/Dermatology team in NW Portland. You will deliver exceptional patient experiences, handle scheduling, check-in/out, and insurance data, and support a busy dermatology clinic with empathy and accuracy.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, with a 32–40 hour workweek and paid benefits. Prior EMR experience (Epic a plus) and a patient-first attitude are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Experience with electronic medical records is strongly preferred; Epic is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and familiarity with insurance/referral processes.
• Ability to initiate work independently and multitask efficiently.
• Excellent attendance and professional communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out new and established patients.
• Promote efficient scheduling of surgeries/appointments per office protocols.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Answer phones on a multi-line system.
• Process referrals and fax submissions; update records as needed.
