Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners seeks a Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology clinics. You will escort patients, document histories, and support physicians during examinations and cosmetic procedures.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a medical office, dermatology exposure, strong communication, and solid EMR skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic team environment in Cedar Hill, Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant training required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist Physician/Provider by scribing notes in the patient record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms and stocking supplies.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and sterilization of instruments.
• Perform other duties in the back office as assigned.
