Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Cedar Hill clinic. You will support physicians in exams, document patient histories, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a medical office, dermatology exposure is preferred, and strong communication, organization, and compassionate care are essential for excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office.
• Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examination.
• Record medical histories and current medications in the chart.
• Assist Physician/Provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning, stocking, and organization of exam rooms.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and handling of sharps/chemicals.
• Undertake other back-office duties as needed.
