Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Frisco, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians during examinations, document medical histories, assist with procedures, and manage specimen collection in a fast-paced dermatology clinic.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in a medical office, dermatology/cosmetic exposure preferred, and strong communication and teamwork skills. EMR familiarity is required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist Physician/Provider in room and scribe notes in medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens and notify patients of results.
