Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced dermatology clinic in Plano, TX. You will escort patients, document histories and medications, and assist with biopsies and cosmetic procedures.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of medical office experience, dermatology exposure is a plus, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA training completed.
• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office, dermatology preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for evaluation.
• Enter patient histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician in the room and scribe notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning, room setup, and inventory of supplies.
• Laboratory maintenance including instrument cleaning and autoclaving.
