Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinics with compassionate patient care and efficient back-office operations. You will escort patients, record histories, and assist providers with biopsies, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.

Your role includes managing lab specimens, coordinating follow-ups, and maintaining clean exam rooms. A Medical Assistant certification is preferred, with 2–3 years in a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office setting as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience is preferred.
• Quality written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examination.
• Enter medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician in the room by scribing notes in the patient record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms; stock supplies and maintain instruments.
