Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients in a dermatology and/or plastics clinic. The role supports registration, scheduling, payments, and front-desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient experience.

You will coordinate with clinicians and staff, maintain accurate records in the EHR, handle inquiries, and protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical office/front-desk/customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems.
• Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, staff, patients and the public.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.

Responsabilidades

• Open/close the clinic; reconcile cash and daily totals.
• Greet, check in/out patients; verify/update demographics and insurance in EHR.
• Collect co-pays, account balances, and receipts; maintain cash-log documentation.
• Maintain a welcoming waiting area and communicate delays.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; manage cancellations/no-shows.
