Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at the dermatology/plastics clinics. Responsibilities include registration, collecting payments, scheduling, and accurate reporting to the Forefront Billing Department.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, HIPAA privacy adherence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical office/front desk experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dermatology or plastics settings is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and EHR/scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and verify demographics and insurance.
• Collect co-pays, balances, cosmetics payments and process retail receipts.
• Open/close clinic, reconcile daily payment totals and cash log.
• Manage waiting room, schedule appointments, and communicate delays.
• Scan and manage documents in the EHR and prepare next-day appointments.
