Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact in our dermatology clinic. You will greet patients, manage check-in/out, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments while maintaining confidentiality.

You will support scheduling, use electronic health records, and coordinate with clinicians and staff to create a smooth, welcoming patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Front-desk and medical-office administrative experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Open/close clinic; reconcile cash boxes and daily totals.
• Greet, check in/out patients; verify demographic and insurance information in EHR.
• Collect co-pays and payments; maintain cash-log documentation.
• Schedule and manage appointments; handle reminders and no-shows.
• Manage records in EHR; coordinate referrals and chart reviews.
• Answer calls; route to Billing/Clinicians as needed.
• Assist onboarding and day-to-day guidance for front-desk team.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and HIPAA rules.
