Platinum Dermatology Partners in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to welcome patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and handle routine inquiries with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years at a medical front desk, with experience in insurance verification, EMA/EMR systems, and strong communication skills to support a fast-paced dermatology clinic. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 is a plus; we offer competitive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years front desk experience in a medical office/clinic.
• Dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
• Insurance verification and scheduling experience required.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes.
• Quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and routing non-routine requests.
• Prepare necessary patient paperwork before appointments.
• Review EMA for information that needs to be updated.
• Update patients' information in EMA.
• Identify payer sources, verify insurance eligibility, and verify prior authorization.
• Record and collect patient copays and/or balances at check-in/out.
• Other duties as assigned.
