Job summary

AbbVie field-based role requires residing within commuting distance to the primary city, covering areas surrounding Queens, NY. You will execute brand strategy, manage territory, and build strong customer relationships to maximize sales while placing the patient at the center of AbbVie's code of conduct.

Deliver sales performance, meet KPIs, plan calls, handle objections, and develop market intelligence to optimize brand strategy and access with the field team and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• 5+ years of experience with 3+ years in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred and a high school diploma/GED required
• Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills; adapts to customer style
• Influences others and builds collaborative partnerships across teams and districts
• HCIR credentialing requirements and valid driver's license are necessary

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet KPIs to exceed objectives.
• Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and evaluate post-call outcomes.
• Develop call plans to maximize coverage and frequency to key customers.
• Share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager.
• Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition to health providers and build disease state expertise.
• Identify and engage speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
