Job summary

Pacific Dermatology Institute is seeking a strong Office Manager (second in command) to join our growing dermatology group. You will help oversee hiring, staff training, provider credentialing, and clinic operations across multiple locations in Southern California.

The role requires leadership, health care knowledge, and a proactive approach to compliance with CMS, CLIA, and OSHA standards. The position offers base salary with incentives, health benefits, vacation, and a 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Experience in health or business management/Leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in health management or business management.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program; National Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA rules.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring of clinic staff and ensure timely, quality training.
• Assist with provider documentation and credentialing with health plans.
• Monitor clinic performance against targets and goals.
• Maintain compliance with CMS, CLIA, OSHA and PDI policies.
• Prepare logs, deposits, and financial/reports for review.
• Oversee daily operations and scheduling across clinics.
• Lead Lean/5S initiatives and standard operating procedures.
• Travel up to 25% to multiple clinic locations.
