Job summary

An established, physician-led healthcare organization in Central Illinois is seeking a Dermatologist with Mohs Surgery expertise to spearhead and build a brand-new Dermatology & Mohs service line from the ground up.

This unique opportunity provides complete clinical autonomy to design, develop, and grow a premier dermatology practice backed by robust health system support for Mattoon and the surrounding regional community, including general medical dermatology, skin cancer screenings, surgical

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited US medical school or international equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational setup, clinical workflow design, and rollout of a brand-new Dermatology and Mohs Surgery service line.
• Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management for skin cancers and dermatologic conditions.
• Perform Mohs surgeries and histopathologic interpretations upon establishing facility capabilities.
• Establish clinical protocols, procure equipment, and guide clinic layout.
