Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Dermatologist with Mohs Surgery expertise to spearhead and build a brand-new Dermatology & Mohs service line in Mattoon, Illinois. The role offers complete clinical autonomy to design, develop, and grow a premier dermatology practice backed by a robust health system.

You will lead setup, optimize outpatient evaluation and surgical management of skin cancers, establish protocols, procure equipment, and build a referral network with PCPs, surgeons, oncologists, and

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed ACGME Dermatology residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Fellowship in Mohs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational setup, clinical workflow design, and rollout of a brand-new Dermatology and Mohs Surgery service line.
• Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management for skin cancers and complex dermatologic conditions.
• Perform Mohs surgeries and histopathologic interpretations; establish clinic protocols and equipment procurement.
• Build a referral pipeline with regional primary care, surgeons, oncologists, and APPs.
• Maintain a patient-centered care environment with high quality and safety standards.
