Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Dermatologist to spearhead a brand-new Dermatology & Mohs service line in Mattoon, IL. You will design, develop, and grow the practice with full clinical autonomy and strong system support for comprehensive cancer care and skin disease management.

The role emphasizes leadership, surgical expertise, and collaboration with regional physicians to build a premiere, patient-centered clinic with top-tier safety standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Fellowship training or proficiency in Mohs Surgery strongly preferred.
• Active Illinois medical license (or eligible) and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational setup, clinical workflow design, and rollout of a new Dermatology and Mohs service line.
• Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management for skin cancers and dermatologic conditions.
• Perform Mohs micrographic surgeries and tissue interpretations once capable.
• Establish clinical protocols, equipment purchasing, and clinic layout.
• Develop referral networks with PCPs, surgeons, oncologists, and APPs.
• Maintain patient-centered care with high quality and safety standards.
