Job summary

Kearney & Company seeks a Deputy Program Manager to support planning, execution, and oversight of a Department of War program. You will assist in coordinating activities, managing technical and administrative tasks, and ensuring objectives are met in a dynamic environment with diverse stakeholders.

Required: PMP, 7+ years in similar PM roles, TS/SCI with SAP eligibility, and 5 days onsite in Washington DC. Competitive salary with benefits and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager experience on contracts of similar size and complexity.
• PMP certification required.
• Ability to work with DoW personnel, military/civilian stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Strong understanding of the Government PPBE process.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
• 5 days onsite in Washington DC.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with SAP Eligibility (U.S. citizenship) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager with establishing and maintaining an accurate cost accounting system.
• Assist with data management procedures and configuration management across the program.
• Manage hardware and software configurations and establish the program product baseline.
• Develop and maintain a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors supporting program efforts.
• Lead and coordinate technical management teams at the client site.
• Advise on work distribution and staffing levels.
• Analyze operations to meet established goals and perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Evaluate organizational methods, procedures, and business processes.
• Research new or improved business and management practices.
• Gather information for senior leadership and stakeholders.
