Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a complex Department of War program in planning, execution, and oversight. You will coordinate activities, manage technical tasks, and ensure objectives are met, working with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of PM/Deputy PM experience, PMP certification, and TS/SCI with SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of PM/Deputy PM experience on large contracts.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with SAP Eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.
• PMP certification is required.
• Strong ability to work with DoW personnel, military/civilian stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Good understanding of the Government PPBE process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
• Ability to work 5 days onsite in Washington DC.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager with planning, execution, and oversight of the program.
• Establish and maintain cost accounting and data management procedures.
• Manage hardware and software configurations across the program.
• Establish and control the program product baseline and R&M program.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors supporting program efforts.
• Lead and coordinate technical management teams at the client site.
• Advise on staffing levels and skill mix.
• Analyze operations to meet established goals; perform cost-benefit analyses and economic evaluations.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency.
• Research new or improved business and management practices.
• Summarize information for senior leadership and stakeholders.
