Job summary

C5MI Insights LLC. seeks a Deputy Program Manager to lead a large-scale SAP S/4HANA financial management modernization program for a Department of War client.

You will direct the program management office, coordinate schedulers, and manage risk, cost, and quality across nine financial areas, with authority during the Program Director’s absence. This senior delivery role requires 8+ years in federal programs, PMP or equivalent certification, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10–15 years of professional experience and 5–8 years of people leadership with a Bachelor’s degree, or 14–18 years without a degree.
• 8+ years of federal program or project management experience on defense programs with formal milestone reviews.
• Experience as deputy program manager or delivery manager on an enterprise system implementation.
• Experience leading a program management office with PMs, schedulers, and project controls.
• PMP certification or equivalent program management cert.
• Active Secret security clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day program execution across nine financial areas.
• Assume Program Director responsibilities in their absence.
• Lead the program management office and agile delivery leadership.
• Own the integrated master schedule and risk assessment.
• Manage the program risk and issue register and escalation.
• Oversee cost performance and forecasts at the workstream level.
• Ensure timely, compliant CDRL deliverables and status reports.
• Coordinate staffing, subcontractors, and vendor delivery.
• Travel up to 50% to client sites.
