Job summary

Serco is seeking a Deputy Engineering Project Lead to join our Naval Acquisition and Sustainment team in the DMV area. You will oversee technical teams delivering amphibious ships, support modernization, and sustainment across programs with a PM-led environment.

You will engage with government and industry professionals, manage change, and drive cost/schedule decisions. The role emphasizes collaboration, analysis, and delivering actionable guidance to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required.
• Strong communication and program management skills.
• Experience with systems engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team’s change tracking and CCD development.
• Assist with TPS management and budget exhibits.
• Provide technical recommendations on SSC/LCAC/LSM HM&E and C4N systems.
• Support Navy test and evaluation processes and DT/OT/ET activities.
• Develop online databases, status updates, and metrics.
• Participate in design reviews and program reviews.
• Provide program management and technical support to Navy teams.
• Organize and track action items and deliverables.
