Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Submarine Project Manager to lead a team supporting the US Navy on the Team Submarine contract in Washington, D.C. You will provide programmatic support to NAVSEA customers and influence outcomes to keep submarines operational and safe at sea.

You will act as the primary customer contact, run program reviews, manage acquisition processes, and oversee budget development while ensuring timely delivery and quality. Travel up to 10% and active DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research, or financial/cost analysis with Navy acquisition familiarity.
• Knowledge and experience with Navy acquisition and submarine programs.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for all activities and provide status updates.
• Lead program reviews with the customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Serve as the single point of contact on contract management issues, including reports and presentations.
• Support budget development and financial management for the contract.
• Deliver technical performance within cost and schedule constraints.
• Manage staff and direct performance of the program.
• Develop and monitor program plans with time and cost estimates to ensure on-time outputs.
• Lead technical discussions for project reviews and prepare briefings.
• Participate in business development efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
