Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Project Manager to lead a team supporting US Navy submarine programs. You will act as the primary customer liaison, manage program reviews, and oversee acquisition planning and contract reporting.

The role requires DoD security clearance and involves travel. Based in Washington, DC area with potential travel, you will drive cost, schedule, and technical performance while coordinating with cross-functional staff to ensure on-time deliverables and compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field; related experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• 5 years in engineering/science management, operations research, or Navy program knowledge.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel at least 10%.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for all activities and provide updates on project status.
• Lead program reviews with customer focusing on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Serve as single point of contact on contract management issues and reporting.
• Support budget development and financial oversight for the contract.
• Deliver technical performance within scope, cost, and schedule.
• Lead staff and provide direction for the program.
• Develop and monitor the program plan with time and cost estimates.
• Lead technical discussions for project reviews and briefings.
• Participate in Business Development efforts.
