Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Sentinel Deputy Chief Engineer Software to lead the SDS Software Factory for the Sentinel program across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality software for missile flight and command/control ground systems.

The role requires 16+ years in STEM with a BS (14+ with MS), US citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance, and strong leadership in real-time embedded software, EVMS, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

16+ years of experience in STEM with a Bachelor's degree.
US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.
10+ years of software experience (C++, real-time embedded) and full lifecycle.
5+ years hardware/software integration with system architecture and EVMS.

Responsibilities

Lead the SDS Software Factory and ensure on-time software delivery.
Enforce sound engineering processes across development, verification, production.
Support PMT meetings (TRB, WSWG, CCB, PMR, PI planning).
Collaborate across teams to align design decisions with system performance.
Support strategic technical objectives within Sentinel and SDS.
