Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior systems engineering leader to guide a small team in designing and integrating the Sentinel weapon system. You will develop system-level architecture and ensure alignment with mission requirements across milestone activities.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and 2+ years in MBSE or complex aerospace systems, with strong collaboration across customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• 3+ years in requirements development or review in DOORS or similar tool.
• 2+ years in Sentinel/MBSE or aerospace/defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of systems engineers and participate in weapon system design integration.
• Develop system level architecture and allocation from weapon system specs to CI definitions.
• Perform trade studies for SFR, CDR, and PDR events.
• Negotiate and execute MPE criteria for Milestone B with Sentinel customers.
