Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a senior CSSE to lead cyber systems engineering for the Sentinel program based in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role requires strong leadership, extensive SSE experience, and the ability to deliver cyber survivability across complex weapon systems.

The candidate will manage teams, drive compliance with standards such as CNSSI 1253 and DoD 8140/8570, and coordinate with SPO and program managers to meet mission objectives in a high-stakes DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or PhD in a technical field with DoD experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; Top Secret w/SCI and SAP access preferred.
• 14+ years of relevant experience for bachelor path, 12+ for masters, 10+ for PhD.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber systems engineering teams in execution of the statement of work, cost, schedule, and scope.
• Partner and collaborate with the engineering leadership team and program to meet mission objectives.
• Lead a team of specialized NGMS Cybersecurity Systems Engineers in the development and enhancement of the Sentinel system.
• Ensure weapon system compliance with all contractually obligated cybersecurity standards and guidance.
• Develop and document technical standard engineering processes and procedures.
• Lead engineering reviews of technical content for engineering review boards.
