Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a dedicated trainer to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service with strong product knowledge.

The role emphasizes leading by example, completing certification courses, merchandising accuracy, and effective communication to coach the store team in the basics of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to all product sales specialists to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
