Job summary

Simmons Bank is seeking an enterprise operations leader to head Deposits & Payments Operations. This senior role oversees end-to-end performance, control, resiliency, and continuous improvement of deposit and payment processes across platforms and vendors.

As the first line of defense (1LoD) executive, you’ll partner with LOB leaders, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Finance to drive scalable, compliant operations aligned with growth goals and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, multi-function deposits and payments operations.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory banking requirements and controls.
• Proven track record in risk management, audit readiness, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for all deposit and payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, resiliency and capacity across platforms and vendors.
• Design and evolve a scalable operating model to support growth, digital adoption, and regulatory expectations.
• Partner with LOBs and Technology on platform modernization, automation, vendor integrations, and resiliency planning.
• Drive continuous improvement using data, quality and automation to reduce cost, risk and customer friction.
