Job summary

Simmons First National Corporation is seeking an Executive Leader for Deposits & Payments Operations in Fort Worth, Texas. The role oversees end-to-end deposits and payments operations, ensuring accuracy, resiliency, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes across platforms and vendors.

The Head will partner with LOBs, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to deliver customer-centric, efficient operations while maintaining strong risk controls and exam readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or related degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in deposit, payments or banking operations.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing multi-function operations.
• Experience across deposit/payments processing, fraud, onboarding and contact centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary operations organization with accountability and risk ownership.
• Executive oversight of all deposit and payment processing activities across platforms.
• Oversee CIP/KYC, CDD and EDD programs and regulatory controls across onboarding.
• Drive platform modernization, automation, resiliency, and capacity planning with LOBs and Technology.
• Design a scalable operating model to support growth and regulatory expectations.
• Lead consumer, private banking and small business contact centers.
• Ensure compliance and exam readiness; manage key risk indicators and documentation.
